Completed 14th C Arming Pourpoint

A while back I was just about to begin making an arming pourpoint based on the surviving Charles de Blois garment.

This one:

Well, I recently finished it. It has laces instead of buttons, for ease of the armour fitting better over the top of the garment.

Jason can even do boyband poses too 🙂

As you can see, this one was worn before I got to get any pics. I had very little time to get it finished for St Ives, so I did all the major bits, and all the eyelets, but only half of the quilting. So that was finished after the event and before Timeline. Overall, I’m really happy with how this one has turned out 🙂
